A Question of Loyalty

by Michael F. Broom, Ph.D. | Jan 3, 2022 | Leadership

I was consulting with a significant part of a large aerospace company. I was interviewing a very senior vice president. He was complaining about how hard it had become holding on to top employees. Of particular concern to him was what he saw as the lack of loyalty of young employees. He said they seemed to be going to the highest bidder for their services.

I was fascinated! Fascinated since the company was into their second layoff in two years! I guess loyalty is in the eye of the one feeling screwed?
