The Center for Human Systems PRESENTS
TRIPLE IMPACT LEADERSHIP
A CHANGE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR
ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERS
with Edie Seashore and Michael Broom,
renowned organization psychologists
Triple Impact Leadership is a program designed for organization–wide
impact. It takes small leadership teams of the same organization on a journey during which
they will learn to (1) use themselves individually and collectively in such a manner that
they will (2) positively impact the people they work with, who, in turn, will (3)
positively and powerfully impact the folks that they work with to increase productivity
and create other change as desired—thus Triple Impact Leadership. In its public
version the program is known as Practitioners Program for Organization Development and
Change Management. These programs are unique in their emphasis on development of real
skills that are immediately useful and the sense of personal and organizational
transformation that many experience.
THE GOALS and CONTENT
1. To support leadership teams to identify
systemic changes and changes in the organization’s culture that are needed to more
effectively and efficiently achieve key strategic goals.
2. To provide the executive leadership team with the skills needed to manage and create
systemic and organization culture change as needed. These skills are laid out in the
Meta-Model of Planned Change (see at the end), which offers a conceptual template of
the program.
Significant emphasis will be placed on the eight "Disciplines of Planned Change"
which include the following:
Conscious Use of Self
Thinking
Systemically
Sound and Current Data
Feedback
Infinite
Power
Learning from Differences
Empowerment
Support
Systems
Emphasis will also be placed on the five iterative "Stages of Planned Change"
which include Contracting, Data gathering, Intervention, Evaluation, and Disengagement.
The participants will learn to apply both to the "Levels of Human
Systems:" Personal, Interpersonal, Group, and Organization.
This content has resulted from the staffs´ years at Johns Hopkins University and
American University and their Practitioners
Program from which Triple Impact Leadership has been modelled. For a detailed
description of this predecessor, its history, and conceptual content go to Detailed Practitioners Program Description
3. To enhance the team dynamics of the leadership team including their communication,
collaboration, and conflict management dynamics.
THE FORMAT
Triple Impact Leadership is a ten-day program
starting with two consecutive days followed by one day a month for the following nine
months. The first half of each day focuses on deepening our understanding of one or more
of the principles while each afternoon is dedicated to applying the principles to the
current situations of each participant´ .
On-line. In between meetings the program will continue on-line in a fascinating
format that deepens skill application while developing a strong support network. This
aspect of the program may take a couple of hours a week while more time creates greater
learning.
One-on-one coaching is another significant component of the program available to
those who request it.

The program has been intentionally designed for groups
of leaders that are deeply involved in creating and managing change in their organizations
